Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Lord Ram\u2019s legacy goes beyond his victory over Ravana, with his timeless teachings continuing to inspire truth, righteousness and moral values. He recalled Lord Ram\u2019s conduct during his coronation and exile, as well as his interactions with Nishadraj and Mata Shabari, citing them as examples of compassion, equality, love and social harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Describing Ramrajya as a model of good governance, the Prime Minister stressed that public welfare, equal opportunities and service to the underprivileged should remain key priorities. He also urged citizens to embrace collective participation and self-reliance to achieve the goals of a developed India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Referring to India\u2019s cultural heritage, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that more than 650 ancient idols have been brought back to India over the last 12 years. He also mentioned the inclusion of Diwali in UNESCO\u2019s \u2018Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity\u2019 in December 2025, citing it as an example of India\u2019s growing cultural recognition globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to political parties, national institutions and citizens to work together to strengthen unity and social harmony, while keeping the national interest paramount.
